Filming for Spider-Man 4 is underway, and fans are wondering who will finally face the Spider-Man's main adversary. A well-known source reports that the villain's identity hasn't been revealed yet. Meanwhile, a filming schedule has been released, revealing some spoilers for the film.
Filming for Spider-Man: A Brand New Day is still underway. Speculation regarding the film's main villain continues. We know about many minor antagonists Spidey will face, and likely the Punisher and Hulk will also appear in the film, but no official announcement has been made about who will be leading them. There have been many speculations, but according to Daniel Richtman, a reliable industry insider, we haven't yet found the villain who will pose the biggest threat to the Wallcrawler.
"I can tell you now that none of the villains you've heard of are the main antagonists in the new Spider-Man. And neither is Mister Negative."
It was the aforementioned Mr. Negative who was the main character fans suspected of sending the others after Spider-Man and other Marvel heroes. Apparently, this was a dead end in terms of predictions.
New photos from the set also revealed what sequences will be filmed next. These include scenes such as:
•Spider-Man vs. Scorpion - the scene will be filmed in August this year.
•Fighting the DODC guards.
•A prison fight that will be filmed in October.
The last point seems particularly interesting. It's very possible that the fight will involve one of Spider-Man's opponents, but the Punisher's involvement in this scene also cannot be ruled out. He already has one famous prison break to his name, from Season 2 of Netflix's Daredevil . However, after the events of Daredevil: Rebirth, we know that Frank Castle is free, though this could change as a result of a special project involving him.
